At the meeting of the Board of Commisssioners of the City of Soddy-Daisy on April 20, 2006 City Manager Cagle reported that notification was received from ISO for the new Public Protection Classification of 3. She said that the City is the only, all volunteer, fire department with a Class 3 rating and praised the department, recognizing the officers who worked diligently over the past several years to acquire this rating. She also thanked the Board for their approval of purchases to help achieve this.

Soddy-Daisy Fire Station One
Soddy-Daisy Fire Station Three Fire Station Three is a simple block building located in the south end of town on Dayton Pike next to the Veterans Park. Station Three houses Engine 3, Ladder 3, First Responder Squad 3 and Rescue Boat 3. No bunk room is at Station Three but it does have a fully equiped kitchen, day room and showers.

Soddy-Daisy Fire Station Two Fire Station Two is located on Dayton Pike at Depot Street next to Kids park in the north end of Soddy-Daisy. Station Two houses Engine 2, Ladder 2, (Old) Snorkle 1, First Responder Squad 2, Brush Truck 2 and Rescue Boat 2.Station 2 was moved from a two bay station on Wall Street and given 2 bunk rooms with showers and lockers for both men and women. The kitchen and day room have all the comforts of home.
