Firefighters know that in every fire there is a Fire Dragon.
In some fires we see it and in some we don't.
Then there are the fires where the Fire Dragon looks us in the eye.
On Sunday morning, April 15, 2007 the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department was dispatched on a structure fire at 11068 Matthew Road. The fire involved an older mobile home that was not occupied and was fully involved when the call came in. The call came in at 2:48 and the first engine was on scene at 2:59. At 3:25 the fire department reported the fire out and they were in the mop up stage of the fire. The vacant home was a total loss. No immediate cause of the fire was found. Responding were two engines and 15 firefighters.
