On Monday, March 26, 2007 the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department responded to a travel trailer on fire at 10640 Dallas Hollow. The travel trailer was located about 20 feet from the house. The fire was reported at 4:09 P.M. The first Firefighter on the scene at 4:14 P.M. reported the trailer was fully involved. Soddy-Daisy Engine 1 arrived with Engine 2 following. SDFD Chief Coleman was in command of 13 Firefighters who quickly extinguished the fire which was spreading into the woods and rubbish pile. The trailer was a total loss but the house was not damaged.
