This was a controlled burn in March 2007 where an area of Kids Park is being expanded. It rekindled after the crew left. It was not much flame but with wind it could have gone into a stand of bamboo and then towards a home. One large tree was burning so the City Street Department brought a front end loader to assist and clean up the area assuring the fire would not continue to burn.
